2014 Toledo Open

Over the past weekend, Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu, Tecumseh travelled down to Toledo, Ohio for the annual Toledo Open BJJ tournament hosted by Chris Blanke.  In a great display of heart, hard work and determination, Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Tecumseh came home with 12 medals.

The following competitors came home with 16 medals around their neck.

  • Adam Smitty Baillargeon took Gold and Bronze in the Adult Purple Belt Division and Absolute, respectively.
  • Mike G. got Gold in his division and Silver in the absolute.
  • Adam Pisani came home with a double Gold medal, division and absolute.
  • Regis took home two Silver medals in both his division and the absolute.
  • Denroi took home a Gold medal
  • Matteo took home a Gold medal
  • Dalton Ure took home a Silver medal.
  • Reece took home a Silver medal in his division.
  • Ethan took home a Silver medal in his division.
  • Arnold took home a Silver medal in his division.
  • Max took home a Silver medal in his division.
  • Aiden took home a Silver medal in his division.

Overall, the tournament was a great success. As always, Chris Blanke puts on the best run tournaments in the Midwest. It was a great time.
