Our son started in the Tiny Tigers at Tecumseh Jiu-jitsu when he was just about five years old. He is now eleven and has gained valuable skills that will be with him for life. It has been amazing to see his Jiu-jitsu and fitness level improve over the years. He has learned to be confident in his abilities but also realize that there is always more to learn and improve on. The older members are always willing to help him figure out a new move and are terrific role models.
As for our eight year daughter, she was more hesitant because she tends to be shy and anxious so we asked her to just give it a try. Two years later, she is loving it. Her teacher noticed improvement with her focus and confidence within a couple of months.
